Gynecologycal Endoscopy

Dr. Nagendra Sardeshpande has over two decades of experience and mastery in then management of gynecologic problems by gynecological endoscopy (also called as keyhole surgery, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, minimally invasive surgery or laser surgery). He has successfully performed over 15000 surgeries of varying complexity including management of gynecological cancers, fibroids, endometriosis, uterine abnormalities and conditions causing repeated pregnancy loss and infertility (inability to get pregnant).

Dr. Nagendra Sardeshpande is actively practicing a variety of procedures and therapies such as PRP treatment, microadipose tissue injections, labioplasty, perineoplasty, surgical & medical treatment for sexual dysfunction and radiofrequency vaginal rejuvenation.

High Risk Pregnancy Management

Dr. Nagendra Sardeshpande has nearly 25 years of experience in successfully managing high risk pregnancies such pregnancies with medical disorders (hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, immunological diseases, renal disease, liver disease, neurological problems, cancer, etc), pregnancy with obstetric complications (fetal growth problems, multiple pregnancy, fetal abnormalities, etc) and pregnancy following infertility & repeated pregnancy losses.

Endometriosis & Fibroid Management

Endometriosis Management

Endometriosis is a chronic disease wherein the inner lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows in the muscle of the uterus (adenomyosis) or outside the uterus over the ovaries, bowel & other organs. Surgery to control the disease is extremely challenging and extensive. Dr. Nagendra Sardeshpande has had nearly two decades of both laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis and its medical management along with treatment of issues associated with it such as infertility & its involvement of vital organs such as the urinary tract, bowel & nerves.

Fibroid Management

Fibroids are benign tumors of the uterus which can grow to enormous size and cause symptoms such as heavy menstrual bleeding, pain and difficulty in passing urine and stools. Dr. Nagendra Sardeshpande has had decades of experience in successfully managing these common tumors by surgery as well as by medical treatment in selected cases. He is an expert at managing fibroids by various techniques such as laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.

Robotic Surgery

Robotic surgery involves operating on a patient with instruments whose movements are controlled by the surgeon sitting at a console. This technology has been around since the turn of the century and is evolving constantly. Most of the surgeries performed by conventional endoscopy can be performed by robotic surgery. Although similar in efficacy, safety and outcomes to endoscopy, Dr. Nagendra Sardeshpande also offers this technology in various hospitals that he operates in since he believes in offering therapeutic options to the woman as per her desire and need.
